We can beat the Warriors

If BG32 plays in beast mode, bring Melo and A nice SG who can defend and shoot/score.

So like, Jimmy Butler or Klay Thompson? or Bradley Beal?

I mean, we're talking two-way player who is an upgrade over JJ, right?

There are actually only 7 SG's in the league that score at a higher rate than JJ.  Some of them are not good defenders.  Then there are other guys who are good defenders that don't score very much or don't shoot well. A decent old guy or two.

Good two-way SGs are pretty rare.  We'd have to trade Blake to get a good two-way SG or SF.  Looking at the options, keeping JJ may end up being the only choice available without downgrading the team.

No we can't.

We need to hope the rumors of Lebron coming here are true. That would be the only way.

We have no chance against this Warriors team, even if we add LeBron. None. We would be better off tanking for the next decade so we can start peaking when the Warriors decline.

Would any of these cost much? Rudy Gay, Tyreke Evans, Taj Gibson, Anthony Tolliver, Darren Collison, Tony Allen, Cj Miles, Thabo Sefolosha, Brandon Rush, Dion Waiters, Tony Snell, Gerald Green, Thomas Robinson, Christian Wood and Deron Williams.

I guess we could take a game.

I guess we could also win if the Warriors suffer two injuries to key players.

...pretty bleak otherwise.

I don't love this deal, but it seems like most think it'd be better for us in the long run. I would be more willing to white flag the next year if it weren't for the chance Lebron may come here to join Chris, but it seems like a deal of CP3 and Luc for Kyrie and Frye would be beneficial to both teams. Cleveland would be better suited against the Warriors with Luc and Chris to cover Steph and Kd and we'd get younger and maybe ready to contend in a couple years if some of these teams disband.

As good as Chris is, his style of play is outdated.

Watching GS and Cleveland, the ball moves all the time. Chris's beat the ball into the hardwood for 20 seconds waiting for someone to get open approach just doesn't work come playoff time. A winning offense is one that is never set-the complete opposite of what Doc and Chris are all about. Sure it works during the season but when rotations shorten and you're playing an opponent 5,6,7 games in a row, constant motion seems to be the key( and guys who can consistently knock down jumpers).

Chris won't help us beat GS at this stage of his career. Hell, I'm not sure anyone can. They are REALLY good.

Not enough. Also need a bench that can score, rebound, and defend, that'll take some upgrading too, so we'll also need a new GM to make that happen.

Let's hope we keep Chris Paul and Blake Griffin first. Without those guys, Clippers won't beat the worst team in the league in a 7 game series.

We would still be a playoff team without Blake, but not without CP.

6 seed at best unless Blake is replaced by a similar caliber player.

Come on V-Ice, there is no scenario where KD leaves the Warriors for the Clippers next year.

Durant seems like a nice guy, but I'd just have a hard time rooting for him. I know the goal is to get the best players you can, but I'd rather it not be him to get the full satisfaction of winning with a team I'd want to root for.
