I hope we win.  We have a talent for dragging out series to the maximum games possible.

It is a bit funny that for the second year in a row, we'll be playing a game 6 to determine who gets the right to get smashed by the Warriors.

I'm betting Austin has a great game tonight.

Wow, so here you guys are with your proverbial backs against the wall against a young and upcoming team with the wiley veteran taking over at crunch time that up until now you have no answer.  The Jazz are favored, especially since they are at home and I know that crowd is going to be rocking tonight.  Who is going to step up for the Clippers tonight?  Will CP3 be able to will his team to a victory?  Will Jamal find his shot tonight and will Reddick keep that touch from last game.  I wonder if Jr will bring some magic and inspired play tonight. Should be an exciting game to watch tonight.  Hope I am able to stay awake. I am actually pulling for you guys so we can still have some bball this weekend. This could be the end of the experiment that is the big 3.

My question to you guys is that if you should lose tonight would you rather lose a nail biter or just get blown out?  I know the answer is a win but my preference is always getting blown out because then I know we never had a chance anyway,   That Stockton shot hurt way more than the 40 point loss to Dallas in game 7 after winning the first two games of the series at their place.

Good luck tonight.....

This is the THIRD year in a row we are playing for the privilege of getting trounced by the Warriors. We are 0-2 so far. I think the team is really scared of facing the Dubs and getting embarrassed with all of the basketball world watching.

But wouldn't you rather be embarrassed by the dubs than bowing out the first round against a lower seeded team with no series win for two years in a row?

I'm not worried about losing to the Warriors, if we do it gracefully.  I'm worried because we are liable do lose to the Warriors in the most unseemly way possible.

In the playoffs, it is always better to win the lose.

If I were betting this game I would take the Jazz to cover the spread.  They are due to have a good game against us.  That crowd in Utah is going to give their players a lot of energy in a close out game.  They are not going to want this thing to go back to L.A.  Our team is going to get outrebounded badly tonight.  If we don't shoot well from the field and turn the ball over significantly less than them we are toast.   Unless we can decisively win a three point shooting contest with them I don't see us having any way to win this thing.  Jamal and Redick are the keys for us.  We need both of them have big games.

maybe the Jazz will cave under Game 6 pressure, although it seemed like they were cold from deep last game and still won

Brutal stakes. That's not a bet, that's cruel and unusual punishment.

Okay, you're on.

Just curious, does anyone else find Hubie Brown the most annoying announcer of all time?   Whining, moralistic, preaching, always feigning disappointment as if he were coaching a bunch of recalcitrant high school kids?

Ouch.  Ducks down 0-2 after losing game 1 at home against the Oilers.    Could be a very short playoff season, but as long as MLB is underway, I'll survive.

He's having a positive impact on the game in my opinion.  His defense is energetic and ruthless. He's often blocking the lanes and forcing the Jazz to make an extra pass.
